Jersey protesters to rally against tax measures

Earlier this afternoon we blogged recent protests in Scotland.

Now the Jersey Evening Post is reporting that a diverse coalition - including businesses, trade unions, and others, are organising protests against proposed rises in the rate of General Sales Tax and other tax reforms designed to substitute for the island's failed Zero/Ten policy.

Long ago we warned the island's government that their policies would end in tears. Sadly the millionaires who inhabit the council of ministers are unlikely to be the ones suffering from their badly conceived policies.
