Destination Jersey: the Alter-Tour de France visits a tax haven

The Alter-Tour de France, a nationwide cycling tour with a progressive agenda, has scheduled a visit to Jersey along its route on 17th and 18th July 2010. Details of the Jersey leg, which aims to draw attention to the island's appalling waste management strategy, as well as the harm caused by population growth, wasteful consumerism and, of course, the corrosive effect of tax havenry, are available here.
