Framing tax discussions: new toolkit

"a toolkit compendium of research on how Americans think about budgets and taxes, and how to increase public support for policies that support (reforms to the budgeting process and tax system. ) . . . effective communications can help engage the public in understanding budgeting and taxation, and improve support for progressive policy alternatives."Interesting. It is framed for the United States, but doubtless has wider relevance. It is also quite involved, and we haven't yet fully digested its messages, but we will. Its main findings are presented in a separate document, entitled How to Talk About Budgets and Taxes: A FrameWorks MessageMemo.
