The protectionism post is a perfect exposition of failing to think with care.
That is, if local producers create ALL the wealth, what is it about local jobs that need protecting exactly? Surely there is a corruption going on elsewhere that makes it seem like they need protecting?
What workers and producers and this blogger should be calling for is freedom from that corruption to start work at will, not protection.
Protection raises prices for all except the protected.
It all lines up nicely with the idea of job creation and protection:
