TJN's Treasure Islands

From the Treasure Islands site:

My publisher just sent me this table. It represents the top ten economics & current affairs books in the UK covering Jan – June 2011. Treasure Islands came fourth. For books published in 2011, it was the bestseller, outselling the next one (Dambisa Moyo) by more than two to one. My publisher asked me to keep actual sales figures confidential, but I was Beaten out by Andrew Ross Sorkin's story of the financial crisis and the two Freakonomics books.

Thanks to all who've made this possible.

Click on the table to see the publication dates.

Notice also Friday's profile of John Christensen in the Guardian - and its description of Treasure Islands as "a bombshell."

Also, note the existence of the Uncut movements. Note the popularity of Richard Murphy's blog, with him being the most-read UK economics blog twice in a row. Note what it used to be like, from Friday's profile of John Christensen in The Guardian:

If we go back just 10 years I could probably count the number of people who had a genuine sustained interest in this subject on the fingers of my hands. We were a sad and lonely group.

Look at the remarkable successes of tax justice groups around the world. And the explosion of interest in the subject, generally.

Tax Justice is clearly becoming mainstream, fast.
