Global Day of Protest Against Tax Havens

Anti tax haven campaigners around the world held a day of protest on Friday 7th October to draw attention to the harm caused by these parasites.

In Guatemala and in the Philippines both ICEFI and AER sent letters to G20 embassies and received good media coverage,

In Ghana ISODEC and the Tax Justice Coalition organised a tax stakeholder forum and in Brazil INESC launched a Manifesto for the Brazilian Government and they join a March tomorrow –more information to follow!

Christian Aid organised a Can-Cannes stunt and also sent letters to Embassies. On Saturday more than 100 people participated at a flash mob in Paris and on Sunday Inspiraction participated in the national day against poverty in Madrid doing a campaign stunt and promoting their new website for the G20 campaign.
