Launch of TJN Israel
We are delighted to report the launch of TJN-Israel next Wednesday. The invitation, only in Hebrew, is available here.
The launch will take place with a conference at the College of Law and Business, Ramat-Gan, at 5pm on Wednesday, November 20th, where TJN's Director John Christensen will give the keynote speech.
The conference will include a speech by the deputy head of the tax authority about recent plans to combat illicit capital flows in Israel. It will also include a discussion on a country-by-country reporting bill that the founders of TJN Israel submitted three months ago, with the help of the head of the left party in Israel.
On Thursday there will be a roundtable discussion from 9.30 - 12.00 am, also at the College of Law and Business, looking at TJN's recently launched Financial Secrecy Index. Markus Meinzer, the lead researcher on our index, will be accompanied by John Christensen.
The invitation for this second event is in English, and is available here.
