International labour leaders favour tax haven crackdown

The International Trade Union Confederation, the world’s largest trade union federation, will hold its general meeting on Nov. 10-11 in Seoul. It looks like a lot of tax justice issues are to be pushed. As the ITUC says, one of its five action points is this:

"Accelerating financial reforms, including fair taxation, a Financial Transactions Tax and a clamp-down on tax havens."

Fantastic. More allies are joining us all the time. Given the scale of what we are confronting here, we need more and more.
